Juice recipes for weight loss

The natural fruit juices, flavored with a good juicer and using fresh organically grown when possible, are an excellent adjuvant in any weight loss program, while contributing to better health.

Apple, lemon, grapefruit

Lemons and grapefruit:
They work by lowering blood glucose levels and they reduce the production of insulin by the pancreas, while increasing metabolism which helps burn fat.
Research suggests that eating citrus fruits either whole or as juice, a few minutes before lunch, would lose an average of 2 kilos per month, this while consuming a normal meal.

Apple :
It helps decrease the rate of carbohydrate in the blood and also lowers the production of insulin, the hormone for weight gain. The high apple pectin content promotes the metabolism of fat.

  60% of apples, lemons 20%, 20% grapefruit. If you are under medication, remove the grapefruit and expanded lemon proportions. This juice should be consumed 20 minutes before meals.

Melon Juice
Ingredients: 2 cups cubed watermelon, melon cubes 2 cups, 2 cups cantaloupe cubes, 1 pinch of
grated ginger.

For juice, we put all the ingredients in a blender, add ice and mix well.
I love this juice because it is refreshing and low in calories

Strawberry juice
Advantages: ideal for smokers because of its high content of vitamin C. Promotes fluid removal and
decreasing blood pressure
Disadvantage: Some strawberries can cause allergy.
Preparation: mix 300g of strawberries every time.
Suggestions: a little basil or oregano powder used to vary the flavors.


  •  Avoid buying bottles, cans or juice bricks (type Tropicana, Minute Maid, etc.) as these drinks contain lots of sugar and little or no vitamins.
  •  Do not use cilantro or basil herbs as these tend to stimulate appetite.
  • Do not drink more than 60 ml juice of green vegetables undiluted both because this may cause very unpleasant digestive symptoms!
  • Try the juice of the acai berry. This is a very effective drink for weight loss!
